I am, before all, a composer at heart. I work hard to call myself this as a disabled creator, making sure I don't fall behind, pouring all emotion I can into my work each time I put pen to paper or hand to key. My art in all forms is inspired by the amazing people I have known, the trials I have encountered, and the wonder I have for life and all it contains.
At the age of 16 I won my first award, the Bournemouth Short Sounds Film Festival, winning Best Score for the production 'Shadow of the Mountain' by Simon Phelps, a production based in and thoroughly inspired by the glorious and sometimes hostile terrain of Cumbria. This beautiful place is where I was born, raised, and lived until my move to London at the age of 20.
Now I study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, frequently working with young directors and animators, helping their visual dreams come alive with my music.
